  • Start local server for current project on port 3000:
     
    rails server
     
  • Start local server for current project on a specified port:
     
    rails server -p "{{port}}"
     
  • Open console to interact with application from command-line:
     
    rails console
     
  • Check current version of rails:
     
    rails --version
