  • Print a specific character/field range of each line:

  • Print a range of each line with a specific delimiter:
     
    {{command}} | cut --delimiter="{{,}}" --{{characters}}={{1}}
     
  • Print a range of each line of the specific file:
     
    cut --{{characters}}={{1}} {{path/to/file}}
