  • Print kernel name:
     
    uname
     
  • Print system architecture and processor information:
     
    uname -mp
     
  • Print kernel name, kernel release and kernel version:
     
    uname -srv
     
  • Print system hostname:
     
    uname -n
     
  • Print all available system information:
     
    uname -a
