  • Print kernel name:
     
    uname
     
  • Print system architecture and processor information:
     
    uname --machine --processor
     
  • Print kernel name, kernel release and kernel version:
     
    uname --kernel-name --kernel-release --kernel-version
     
  • Print system hostname:
     
    uname --nodename
     
  • Print all available system information:
     
    uname --all
